Disclosed are peptides, polypeptides, antibodies, small molecules, and me thods for their use for imaging a neoplasm and for treating cancer in a mamm al. The methods include administering one or more of the agents of the inven tion to a mammal, e.g., a human; the peptides, polypeptides, antibodies, and small molecules, which specifically bind to neoplastic cells, can be labele d with a radioactive label or a therapeutic label, e.g., a cytotoxic agent.
