PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure of a paper fixing and moving mechanism for fixing a bundle of paper and moving it to a binding process or the like. SOLUTION: This paper handling device for moving the bundle 3" of paper prepared by bundling a plurality of paper sheets is provided with a clamp movable mechanism 80 having lower arms 801a and upper arms 801b on a left end side and a right end side, respectively, to fix the bundle 3" of paper and move it. The clamp movable mechanism 80 has a main body base 900, a clamp opening and closing driving part 881 attached to the main body base 900 to drive the upper arms 801b on the left end side and the right end side and a paper fixing and moving part 880 attached movably to the main body base 900 to fix and move the bundle 3" of paper independently from the clamp opening and closing driving part 881. Consequently, the clamp opening and closing driving part 881 and the paper fixing and moving part 880 can be structurally separated from each other when moving the bundle of paper owing to this configuration.
