<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery prevented from the breakage of a cathode plate caused by bending, capable of improving charging/discharging characteristics by restraining the lowering of a discharging capacity in a high temperature environment. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 1 has a power generating element 2 formed by winding a cathode 3 having a current collector on which a cathode mixture layer containing a cathode activator, a conductive agent, and a binder is formed, and an anode 4 through a separator 5. A copolymer of vinylidene fluoride, hexafluoropropylene, and tetrafluoroethylene having a tensile break of 400% or higher is used as the binder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
