<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens dyeing method which dyes a lens surface region halfway up to an accurate upper dyeing limit position irrespective of thickness (volume) of the lens, and to provide a lens dyeing device and a lens holder for dyeing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The lens dyeing device 100 is equipped with: a dyeing vessel 1 to store a dyeing liquid S1 inside; an overflow vessel 2 to store the dyeing liquid overflowed from the dyeing vessel; and a liquid level adjusting means to transfer a dyeing liquid S2 stored in the overflow vessel to the dyeing vessel. The dyeing vessel stores the dyeing liquid so that at least the liquid overflows from the dyeing vessel when the lens L is dipped into the dyeing liquid in the dyeing vessel up to the upper dyeing limit position B. The liquid level adjusting means is equipped with a liquid supply tube 31 and a pump 32. A circulating conduit 3 is provided for communicating the dyeing vessel and the overflow vessel with each other, and transferring the dyeing liquid stored in the overflow vessel, which has overflowed from the dyeing vessel when the lens is dipped into the dyeing liquid up to the upper dyeing limit position, from the overflow vessel to the dyeing vessel.
