PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for a urea-containing liquid capable of highly efficiently removing urea from the urea-containing liquid, and preventing urea-derived ammonia from remaining.SOLUTION: The urea-containing liquid treatment method includes: a first adsorption step of bringing a strongly acidic cation exchange resin into contact with an untreated urea-containing liquid such that the urea contained in the urea-containing liquid is adsorbed in the strongly acidic cation exchange resin, the strongly acidic cation exchange resin having an average pore diameter of 1 to 90 nm and a specific surface area of 10 m/gdry to 800 m/gdry; and a second adsorption step of bringing the strongly acidic cation exchange resin into contact with a treatment intermediate liquid, which has passed through the first adsorption step, such that the urea contained in the treatment intermediate liquid is adsorbed in the strongly acidic cation exchange resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
