The present invention relates to a surge arrester and, more specifically, to a surge arrester designed to be easily processed, manufactured and installed by solving the existing processing, manufacturing, and installing limitation problems. The surge arrestor comprises: a main line having both ends on which an input terminal and an output terminal are separately formed to be connected to an external communication cable; a body which is penetrated by the main line; dielectric rings fixing the main line to the body and separately fastened to portions adjacent to the input terminal and the output terminal in order to maintain a central line; and a lightning arrester device having a lower portion which is vertically connected to the center of the main line; and a cover fixing the lightning arrester device to the body. Accordingly, the surge arrestor is connected to the communication line to protect a repeater or a base station system. |
