PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for a heavy load that is capable of exhibiting superior on-ice performance and wear resistance.SOLUTION: On a tread part 2, a shoulder land part 11 and a middle land part 10 are partitioned. The shoulder land part 11 comprises a plurality of shoulder blocks 40, and the middle land part 10 comprises a plurality of middle blocks 16. At least one of the shoulder blocks 40 and at least one of the middle blocks 16 are partitioned respectively into a center block piece 30 and outer side block pieces 31 on both sides of the center block piece by using two dividing sipes 25. On each outer side block piece 31 of the middle block 16, a closed sipe 33 is disposed.
