摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crack monitoring apparatus capable of monitoring for cracks for an extended period of time without degradation of crack detection capability.SOLUTION: Crack monitoring members 12 move together with a nose rail 5 to detect cracks C emerging on the nose rail 5. Tabular conductors 13 are flexible electric wires which are joined face-to-face with wiring conductive layers 12i of the crack monitoring members 12 to be in electrical contact therewith. Each tabular conductor 13 is joined with a wiring conductive layer 12i of the respective crack monitoring members 12 via an adhesive layer 12j. When the nose rail 5 makes a switching motion, the crack monitoring members 12 move integrally with the nose rail 5. As a result, the tabular conductors 13 interlockingly follow the back-and-forth movement of the crack monitoring members 12 and sag, which prevents weight and resisting force of the tabular conductors 13 from being transmitted to the wiring conductive layers 12i of the crack monitoring members 12, preventing the tabular conductors 13 from being disconnected from the wiring conductive layers 12i thereby.
