In this manufacturing method of a decorative component, a laser drawing step is performed on a coating film (21) formed on a surface (13) of a component material (12) having a solid shape. The step is used to form a laser processed groove group (23) including a plurality of laser processed grooves (24, 25) is formed, and a hairline pattern (22) is added to the coating film (21). The laser processed groove group (23) includes a plurality of types of arc-shaped laser processed grooves (24, 25) having curvature radius R values which are different from each other and which are 1000 mm or more. The arc-shaped laser processed grooves (24, 25) are arranged so as to extend substantially along the same direction, and the arc-shaped laser processed grooves (24, 25) are arranged so as to intersect with each other at an angle of 3° or lower to irregularly generate overlapping portions (26) where the line width (W2) looks wider than the other portions, thereby easily and reliably adding the hairline pattern that has a fine and close-to-real texture. |
