Provided is a pneumatic tool that enables foreign matter included in compressed air supplied to an air motor to be removed. An air swirling member (40) having a helical groove is arranged inside an air supply path (34) provided in a tool body (14) that houses an air motor (12). The air swirling member (40) causes compressed air that passes therethrough to swirl and form a swirling flow. A cylindrical wall (42), which is disposed in a position downstream of the air swirling member (40) inside the air supply path (34) and disposed further toward the inside than an inner circumferential surface (34a) of the air supply path (34) so as to form a cylindrical dust collecting space (44) between the cylindrical wall and the inner circumferential surface (34a), is arranged so that an upstream side end section (44a) of the dust collecting space (44) is open and a downstream side end section (44b) is closed. A dust discharging path (52) that extends from an inlet opening section (52a) which is open to the dust collecting space (44), to an outlet opening section (52e) which communicates with the outside of the tool body (14), is provided, so that foreign matter collected inside the dust collecting space (52) can be discharged to the outside. |
