A laptop computer 1 according to the present disclosure comprises: a first case body (10) further comprising a display unit; a second case body (20) further comprising a manipulation unit; and a hinge part which couples a first lateral part on the rear side of the first case body (10) in the depth direction and a second lateral part of the second case body (20) such that the first case body (10) and the second case body (20) are capable of relative rotation. The second case body (20) further comprises a leg part (50) which is capable of protruding rearward of the second lateral part from the second lateral part. The shapes of portions in the second lateral part which are coupled to the leg part (50) are set such that, when the leg part (50) is made to protrude rearward of the second lateral part, the rear end part of the leg part (50) protrudes further downward than the vertical position of the mounting face which is a main face opposite the main face in the second case body (20) whereupon the manipulation unit is positioned.
