Provided is a novel production method for a Wnt protein, whereby a Wnt protein having a high Wnt activity can be easily produced in a short period of time without using a special equipment, said method comprising (1) a step for obtaining the Wnt protein in a culture by affinity purification targeting afamin, and/or (2) a step for obtaining the the Wnt protein in the culture, said Wnt protein forming a complex with afamin, by affinity purification in the state of the complex as such.
