PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swinging reduction device which enables a swinging reduction effect of a floating body to be surely acquired with a simple structure, and an increase in resistance when towing the floating body to be suppressed with no hindrance even upon staying alongside a quay.SOLUTION: There are: a plate part 20, arranged with a gap between corners 6 of the side face 4 and the bottom face 3 of a floating body 1 to be used in a state of projection toward the outside of the side face 4 of the floating body 1; and a support part 30A that supports the plate part 20. The upward face 22a of the plate part 20 collects water streams approaching from outside of the side face 4 to the side face 4 by the anaseism of waves and guides them toward the gap. The downward face 22b of the plate part 20 blocks water streams advancing from the bottom face 3 by the backwash of waves. The support part 30A has a support arm 31A with the plate part 20 fixed and a movable mechanism 32A that moves the support arm 31A to move the plate part 20 between a use position below a water level and a lifting position above the water level.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
