PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a BER characteristic in MIMO transmission.SOLUTION: A transmission apparatus 1 includes: an error correcting coding section 11 for coding a transmission signal by an LDPC coding method using a check matrix to generate an LDPC code; a bit interleave section 12 for dividing the LDPC code generated by the error correcting coding section 11 to generate an LDPC code sequence comprising LDPC codes of the bit number obtained by multiplying a bit number corresponding to the number of multiple values of modulation of a multilevel modulation method by the number of transmission antennas, and permuting the bits of the LDPC code sequence in a different pattern; a mapping section 13 for modulating the LDPC codes permuted by the bit interleave section 12 by the multilevel modulation method to generate carrier symbols; and an output processing section 16 for constructing an OFDM frame from the carrier symbols generated by the mapping section 13 and transmitting an OFDM signal via each transmission antenna. |
