An extension-type remote input and output module according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a communication media unit which transmits and receives data to and from at least one of a master module and a terminal module; a control unit which sets a user parameter transmitted by the terminal module or a basic parameter stored in a basic parameter storage area of memory as a parameter for an installation module by referring to a user parameter setting display area of the memory; and an extended data input and output unit which transmits the parameter for the installation module to the installation module, and transmits general data, received from the master module based on the parameter for the installation module, to the installation module or receives general data from the installation module. Accordingly, a user can access the extension-type remote input and output module through remote access via the terminal module, and can directly set a parameter for the installation module, thereby providing an advantage in which a separate program for setting of the parameter is not required. |
