<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide optical radio equipment wherein a slave unit is mounted on mobile equipment by downsizing each of the slave units and reducing the power consumption of the slave units and a plurality of the slave units can independently make communication with a master unit, and to provide the master unit. <P>SOLUTION: When an optical position measurement element 2 of the master unit 1A detects a transmission light 10B from a slave unit 1B, a position measuring circuit calculates the position of the slave unit 1B, a transmission/reception element designation circuit designates a transmission/reception element 3A located closest to the position of the slave unit 1B among free transmission/reception elements 3A, and allows the designated transmission/reception 3A to make transmission/reception with the slave unit 1B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
