PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel sweat secretion-promoting agent, and a dry skin prophylactic or therapeutic agent.SOLUTION: A sweat secretion-promoting agent of the present invention contains PACAP or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. Preferably, one or more kinds of peptides that belong to a group consisting of PACAP and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof are contained. A dry skin prophylactic or therapeutic agent of the invention contains the above-mentioned sweat secretion-promoting agent. The sweat secretion-promoting agent of the invention can be utilized as a medicine for improving dry skin symptoms, and also widely utilized as dry skin care cosmetics, functional foods, or the like.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
