PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a phase shift between external radio wave received and relay radio wave transmitted in a time information transmitting and receiving apparatus such as a repeater for receiving/transmitting a signal of a predetermined amplitude modulation method conveying time information.

SOLUTION: This time information transmitting and receiving apparatus comprises: a receiving controlling circuit part 62A for detecting a signal a1 received and amplified and generating a clock data signal c1 based on a carrier signal b1 obtained by synchronizing the phase to a signal a1 received and amplified by a receiving antenna ANT1; and a transmitting controlling circuit part 92A for generating an amplitude modulation signal obtained by modulating the amplitude of a carrier signal b1 in a time code d1 for transmission by a modulator 923a, and transmitting the relay radio wave of which the phase is synchronized with the phase of the external radio wave from an antenna ANT2 by correcting the change of the phase using a phase changer 925a.
