PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat which inhibits a load from becoming excessively large when an occupant moves a seat to a rear side while stretching its legs and applies the load to the legs.SOLUTION: A control part 29 releases a lock mechanism 23 to allow a slide bracket 15, to which a seat 1 is attached, to move relative to an inclined guide rail 5 during automatic operation of a vehicle. When an occupant M seated on the seat 1 stretches its legs with the legs placed on a footrest 31 during the automatic operation, the seat 1 slides obliquely upward to a rear side along the inclined guide rail 5. When the seat 1 is moved to the rear side, a rearward biasing force is applied to the seat by an extension coil spring 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
