<p>PURPOSE:To improve assembling workability by individually disposing a cowl unit to a position on the front side of a member on the car body side of closed sectional structure disposed between front pillars on both sides and an instrument panel unit to a position on the rear side thereof. CONSTITUTION:In the body of a car body, a cowl member 5 on the car body side of closed sectional structure extending in the direction of the width of a car is disposed to the upper part of a dash panel 4 by which an engine room 2 and a car room 3 are partitioned from each other, and the two end parts thereof are secured to respective front pillars on both sides. A cowl unit U1 having a wiper device 12 is arranged in a way to be inserted from above in a position on the front side of the cowl member 5, and an instrument panel unit U2 is arranged on the rear side of the cowl member 5 in a way to be inserted through the opening part of a car body door into a car room. An instrument panel 21, a steering device 22, an air conditioning unit 23, a dash member 24, a brake pedal 25, a brake pedal bracket 26, and a brake boosting device 27 are arranged in the instrument panel unit U2.</p> |
