PURPOSE:To obtain a controller for an air conditioner in which water leakage due to overflow of drain water from a water tray is prevented. CONSTITUTION:The controller for an air conditioner comprises a water tray 4 for storing drain water dew-condensed on an evaporator, a drain discharging unit 6 for discharging drain water stored in the tray 4, and a liquid level sensor 5 for detecting arrival of drain water amount of the tray at a predetermined level and transmitting a sense signal. Further, the controller comprises a control unit 8 for controlling the operation of the unit 6 and an accumulator according to a sense signal of the sensor 5, and a compressor operation OFF signal generator 11 for generating an operation OFF signal to a compressor when the sensor 5 is operated. |
