PURPOSE:To make a clearance between both lids and an opening of an instrument panel uniform by mounting lid supporting members on a common frame member with rigidity provided on the outer periphery of an air bag module. CONSTITUTION:Fastening work between a coupling member 31 and a module mounting bracket 12 and fastening work between a coupling member 33, a module mounting bracket 12 and a lower lid mounting bracket 17 are performed in the state that an upper and a lower lids 5 and 6 are positioned vertically and horizontally by a positioning hole 22a of a projecting plate 22 provided on a frame member 18 and a positioning pin 27 provided on a projecting plate 26. Also, in fastening work, even if a module case 6 is deformed, as the upper and the lower lids 4 and 5 are coupled with the frame member 18 having high rigidity separate from the module case 6, position is hardly changed. Thus, they are positioned with holding a proper clearance to an opening 2a of an instrument panel 2. |
