PURPOSE:To form an intake air swirl in the operation range on low intake air amount side by an intake port structure provided with a first intake air port and a second intake air port having a control valve, and stratify fuel by utilizing this port structure. CONSTITUTION:The combustion chamber side opening part of a first intake air port 3 provided with an injector 15 is directed toward cylinder outer circumference direction, and the combustion chamber side opening part of a second intake air port 4 provided with a control valve 16 is directed toward cylinder bore center direction where an ignition plug 10 is positioned. The intake valve opening starting time of the second intake port 4 is set earlier than that of the first intake port 3, and a communicating passage 17 is provided so as to communicate the downsteam side of the injector 15 in the first intake port 3 with the downsteam side of the control valve 16 in the second intake port 4. |
