SOUND COLLECTING AND CORRECTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To emphasize and correct a specific acoustic signal by a small-scale device by gathering a sound from a specific direction by a directional microphone and increasing the feature quantity of the object acoustic signal. CONSTITUTION:The relative delay time between acoustic signal inputs from microphones 1 and 2 is found from the quantity of data delay and a sound source direction is specified. Similar processing is performed for microphones 1 and 3 and the sound source direction is specified uniformly in an XY plane. Angle information which is thus specified is sent to an actuator 22 by a DSP (digital signal processor) 17 and the directional microphone 4 is set in the sound source direction. Data which are outputted by the DSP 17 and stored in a main memory 21 are emphasized in the DSP 17 by using data obtained by thinning out 1024 data stored in a buffer memory 4 to 1/8 and 128 data stored in a buffer memory 8.
