REMOTE POWER-ON CONTROL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To reduce cost and to save the space for installation by constituting the system such that a communication control processor starts a power supply control processor in response to a call from other station so as to supply power to an information processing unit main body. CONSTITUTION:Upon the receipt of an inquiry message from other station through a communication line 6, a standby processing use program ROM 302 of a communication control processor 3 sets the communication control processor 3 to the reception state. Succeedingly the ROM 302 commands application of power of an information processing unit main body 2 to a power supply control processor 4 via an exclusive use bus 8 and sends a transmission standby request message. Then the information processing unit main body 2 gives an initializing command to the communication control processor 3 and the ROM 302 informs initializing information and remote power-on control information to a microprogram area 304 simultaneously. Succeedingly the initial program loading of the information processing unit main body 2 is finished and the communication start is commanded to the communication control processor 3.
