TV COAXIAL PLUG

PURPOSE:To provide a TV coaxial plug capable of positioning a coaxial cable in a position where a cable connecting metal fitting is not caulked by a rib except when the coaxial cable is really connected while the cable metal fitting is caulked when really connected. CONSTITUTION:A plug main body 1 is constituted of a body 2, a cover 3 and a flexible hinge portion 4 which are integrally molded of a synthetic resin. A cable connecting metal fitting 5 is formed into a cylindrical shape integrally with a shield bottom portion 6 at one end of the body 2. A plurality of claws 7 are disposed at both ends of the cable connecting metal fitting 5. A so-called SPCC is formed into an almost U shape. A rib 16 provide with curve portions 17 in conformity with the shape of the cable connecting metal fitting at both side pieces and a positioning projection 18 at the bottom surface is attached to the inside of the cover 3 by heat. The rib 16 can be rotated on a projection 19. An engaging recess 20 to be engaged with the positioning projection 18 is disposed in a shield case 13.
