MANUFACTURE OF LIQUID INJECTION RECORDING HEAD

PURPOSE:To carry out the manufacture of a liquid injection recording head wherein a size and form of a discharge port are highly precise and favorable recording can be performed. CONSTITUTION:A base 11 on which an orifice plate 12 is laminated is supported by a positioning stage 2 and positioning is performed so that the outside of a part forming an orifice of the orifice plate 12 faces on an injection end 5a of an optical fiber 5 by approaching to a microscopic distance to the injection end 5a. Then laser beam 6 emitted by a laser device 4 is led by the optical fiber 5, the laser beam 6 emitted from the injection end 5a is applied to the orifice plate 12 and the orifice is formed. By performing the above processes repeatedly as many times as the number of the orifices which are to form, through which a desirous number of the orifices are formed.
