<p>PURPOSE:To provide a diesel particulate filter device which is embodied compactly and can purify the exhaust gas of a diesel engine effectively. CONSTITUTION:A diesel particulate filter device comprises a main filter 1 set in a case 3 provided in the exhaust system of a diesel engine, a sub-filter 2 located in the center of the main filter 1, and a bypass cylinder 4 located in the middle between the two. A wire meshing heater 6 is installed on the main filter surface on the exhaust gas flow-in side, and a bypass valve 7 to be opened/closed by an actuator 8 is installed on the exhaust gas flow-in side of the sub-filter 2, and its flow-in port is opened/ closed by the bypass valve 7. The air passage resistance of the sub-filter 2 is set smaller than that of the main filter 1.</p> |
