<p>PURPOSE:To enhance a mechanical strength, facilitate handling, and reduce leaching of particles of impurities intbigh-purity chemicalJ by a method wherein a light-shielding container is formed by using a resin composition prepared by adding a light-shielding pigment and a pigment dispersing agent to a polyethylene or other resin specified in density. CONSTITUTION:A light-shielding container for high-purity chemicalla is made of a resin composition prepared by adding a light-shielding pigment and a pigment dispersing agent to a polyethylene or ethylene.alpha-olefin copolymer resin having a density of 0.940-0.970g/cm<3>. At this time, the weight-average molecular weight of the resin is specified to (12 X 10'')(26 10<3>. A content of a polymer having a molecular weight of 1 X 10<3> or less is specified to be less than 5wt.%, of the resin. A content of the light-shielding pigment selected out of inorganic pigments, such as titanium oxide, and organic pigments, such as phthalocyanine, is specified to 0.015 wt.% of the resin composition. A content of the dispersing agent which is an olefin polymer havjng a number-average molecu ar W819 t o or more is specified to be less than 5 wt.% of the resin composition. A neutralizing agent, an antioxidant, and a light resistance stabilizer are each specified to have a content of not more than 0.01wt.%.</p> |
