PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy and reliable identification of an anesthetic drug in an anesthetic system by constituting the system from a vessel for filling the anesthetic drug in a liquid form and a determination unit for determining parameters relating to physical properties of the liquid anesthetic drug in the vessel. SOLUTION: Anesthetic identification devices (devices) 64, 66, 68 are arranged respectively on anesthetic evaporators 4, 6, 8 that are connected with an anesthetic system 2. By these devices, information about the anesthetic drug is delivered to a control device 62. Respective devices 64, 66, 68 consist of vessels for filling the liquid anesthetic drug and determining units for determining specified physical properties of the liquid anesthetic drug. In the case that density is used as a physical property for example, the determination unit is constituted to contain a floating body and a determination bar. Determined density of the liquid anesthetic drug is delivered to a control device 62. The control device 62 identifies the liquid anesthetic drug by density. In addition to density, viscosity and surface tension, etc., can be selected. |
