PURPOSE: To eliminate the necessity of storage space for storing account transfer request sheets in a processing center and to automatically retrieve image data or a photographed picture at the time of receiving an inquiry request. CONSTITUTION: The seal image of a seal impression in the image data of an account transfer request sheet read out by a scanner/filming device 4 at the time of registration is collated with a seal image stored in a seal image file 10, the image data of the coincident seal image are stored in an inquiry file 13 for a fixed period and a microfilm photographed by the device 4 is stored as a cassette. At the time of receiving an inquiry request for an account transfer request sheet from a branch within the fixed storing period, a processing center retrieves image data corresponding to the inquiry request from the file 13 and sends the retrieved data to a facsimile equipment (FAX) 3 in the branch, and after the lapse of the fixed period, retrieves a photographed picture corresponding to the request from the microfilm cassette and sends the retrieved data to the FAX 3 in the branch. |
