A transfer feeder comprises a lift beam (3) mounted in a transfer press body (1) of a transfer press, which has a plurality of processing stations (W1, W2, ---), and adapted to be vertically moved by a plurality of lift devices (4) installed above the transfer press body. In the transfer feeder, lift rods (7), respectively, upper and lower side portions of which are supported on lift boxes (4a) of the respective lift devices through ball splines to be vertically movable, are provided, and a rack (7b) adapted for engagement with a pinion (8), which is rotated in forward and reverse directions by a lift drive source (10), is formed on the respective lift rods. The lift beam is mounted substantially horizontally to a lower side portion of the lift rod.
