INK JET-PRINTING COMPOSITION AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition which is suitable for use in an ink jet printer and a method of using the composition for printing on a material to be printed.

SOLUTION: The method for printing comprises applying an ink composition containing a solvent, a coloring agent and a binding agent on a material to be printed by using an ink jet-printing method, wherein the method is characterized in that the solvent comprises methyl acetate, and in that the material to be printed is based on a polymer of propylene and/or ethylene.
