PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission/reception system that allows a user to easily and smoothly obtain desired translation results when making translation via a network.

SOLUTION: The transmission/reception system has a delimiter detecting part that detects whether or not there is a predetermined delimiter in first language text information obtained by a voice recognition part. When the delimiter is detected by the delimiter detecting part, the first language text information is translated into second language text information. As a result, the translation results desired by the user can be smoothly provided.
