PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the abrupt operation stop of an inverter device by giving advance warning of the consumption of a DC power supply such as a battery before the inverter device stops its operation. SOLUTION: The DC voltage of a battery 4 is converted to an AC voltage for outputting by a D/A conversion part 31. A part 32 for monitoring the degree of consumption predicts the degree of consumption of the battery 4 totally according to an input voltage, an input current, an output voltage, an consumption current, the state of an automobile, and the like. When the part 32 for monitoring the degree of consumption predicts the consumption of the battery 4, a prediction part 34 rings a buzzer 35 for warning, and then a battery protection part 33 stops operating the inverter device 1 when the battery 4 has been used up. |
