摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control technology of a large capacity optical network where a communication line can be set by means of dynamic wavelength switching or space switching by planning a communication schedule so that a means whose switching time is short is preferentially used among plural independent space or wavelength switching means. SOLUTION: A node which belongs to an optical network and executes communication is provided with an optical transmission/reception means, two and above independent space or wavelength switching means deciding a space or a wavelength that optical transmitter/receiver user and a control means planning a communication schedule so that a means whose switching time is short is preferentially used in two and above switching means when the node executes a series of communication while an opposite node is changed with time. The node inputs/outputs an optical signal by the optical transmitter 107 connected to four couplers 104-1 to 4 and a space switch 110 and the optical receiver 106 connected to one ring through a wavelength selector 123. The node has a control part 111.
