PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity in the case of forming an image on both surfaces of a sheet by reading both surface images of an original in prescribed order, storing both read surface images and forming the stored images on both surfaces of the sheet in order being different from the one in the case of reading them. SOLUTION: The most upper original is fed, switched-back at a pre-inversion stand-by position and stopped in a state where the back surface is turned downward on a platen glass 205. When a scanner unit 206 is moved and the reading of the original is ended, the original is fed and stopped in the state where the back surface is turned downward on the platen glass 205 after making upside down and, then, succeeding read is executed. During the reading, the succeeding original is fed from an original tray 105 and waits at the pre-inversion stand-by position. The processing is repeated so that the images read by an image sensor 208 in order from the back surface are edited by an image processing part and, then, stored on a hard disk. |
