PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display system capable of displaying images recorded by a plurality of image recorders in a relating manner. SOLUTION: A TV apparatus 1 is connected to a DVC unit 3 via a 1394 I/F 130, and mounts a memory card 6 of a digital camera 5 via a memory card I/F 170. The apparatus 1 compares a starting and finishing date of recording in a memory 402 of a video cassette 4 of the unit 3 with photographing date of each image file in the card 6 of the camera 5, and executes a process for cooperatively displaying the images of the card 6 and the unit 3 when the photographed image of the camera 5 is in the card 6 without a recording time of the unit 3.
