PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable distinction for highly accurately preventing wrong insertion in a low-cost ink tank which is simple to manufacture. SOLUTION: An identification part 6 of the ink tank 1 and an identification part 12 at the side of a slot 8 where the ink tank is to be fitted are set corresponding to each other. When the appropriate ink tank 1 is to be inserted in the slot 8, an identification rib 12a of the slot 8 is inserted in an identification recess part 6b of the ink tank 1 while an identification projecting part 6a of the ink tank 1 is prevented from butting against the identification rib 12a or the like, so that the ink tank 1 can be inserted in the slot 8. If the inappropriate ink tank 1 is to be inserted to the slot 8, the identification rib 12a butts against the identification projecting part 6a, resulting in disabling the insertion. Since the identification projecting part 6a is inversely T-shaped, the identification projecting part is easy to firmly butt against the identification rib 12a, thereby facilitating transmitting the insertion impossibility. The identification projecting part 6a is prevented from breaking. |
