PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make heat seal perfect flattening laps of film ends at a bottom of a tray in an overwrapping package. SOLUTION: In a stretch packaging method wherein a surface of goods to be packaged is covered by a film by pushing up the goods to be packaged from the lower side of the film toward the film loaded in tension, the outer circumference end of the film is folded into a bottom of the goods to be packaged by right and left folding and front or back folding, a remained part is folded when discharged and the film end folded is sealed by heat, the folding in the right and the left directions is divided into two steps. The steps comprise a first right and left folding step which slightly folds from the outer circumference edge of the goods to be packaged toward its center and a second right and left folding step wherein the front/back folding step that sufficiently performs a folding in the front or the back direction toward a center of a bottom of the goods to be packaged, and the right and left folding is inmostly performed from a slight folding position of the outer circumference edge of the bottom of the goods to be packaged toward a further central portion of the bottom.
