PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell power generating device and an operation control method for the fuel cell power generating device avoiding a situation of generating a negative pressure in the fuel cell power generating device during stoppage of power generation and preventing deterioration of a cell characteristic due to entraining of air. SOLUTION: The fuel cell power generating device is provided with an air blower 30 supplying air to an air electrode 1b of a fuel cell body 10, a fuel reformer 20 supplying reformed fuel gas to a fuel electrode 1a of the fuel cell body 10, an exhaust blower 40 sucking and exhausting discharged air from the fuel cell body 10 and exhaust gas from the fuel reformer 20, and a control means 50 controlling operation of the exhaust blower 40. In the operation control method, the control means 50 stops the operation of the exhaust blower 40 during stoppage of power generation. |
