<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt guide for a pulley with a long life and capable of preventing an elastic modulus from being lowered at high temperatures. <P>SOLUTION: This belt driving device comprising a plurality of rotating rollers, a belt wrapped around the plurality of rollers, and the pulley disposed on at least one of the plurality of rollers so as to be rotated is provided with a belt guide member fixed on an inner side surface of the belt and guided by the pulley. The belt guide member exhibits a loss tangent tanδ≥0.05 (50 ± 0.5 °C at 1Hz ± 10%), and a storage elastic modulus E' ≥ 8.0 × 10<SP>6</SP>(50 ± 0.5 °C at 1Hz ± 10%). The belt guide member may be constituted of a plurality of layers.
