<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication charge discounting means in a television telephone system, having a commercial image display function, using a comparatively simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: A communication network calls out a party terminal according to a received dial signal received from the terminal at origination. If the call cannot be connected, because of the party being busy, etc., it ends with a connection failure processing. If the call is connected to the party, it decides whether commercial displayed originating information (CM flag) are received together with a dial signal; and if the CM flag is not received, charges an originator (e.g., 10 yens) for the communication, just when the connection is made; or if the CM flag has been received, charges the originator (9 yens) for the communication at a normal rate (of 10 yens) minus a fixed amount (e.g., 1 yen), and identifies a commercial sponsor, based on sponsor information (ID) contained in the received CM flag to charge the sponsor the same amount (1 yen) as the discount amount for the communication. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
