PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction of a braking force regardless of a driving skill of a driver in a sway-back prevention control for reducing sway-back at the time of stopping a vehicle. SOLUTION: An operation quantity of a brake pedal 5 by a driver is detected, so as to learn braking characteristics of a driver based on the detected operation quantity. In a sway-back prevention control for reducing a braking force before the vehicle is stopped, the braking force is controlled based on the learned braking characteristics, so as to control the braking force accurately according to the driving skill of the driver. Therefore, insufficient deceleration and extension of a stopping distance can be prevented without reducing the braking force regardless of the driving skill of the driver.
