PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing cost of a fender protector 11 of an automobile and cost required for mounting work. SOLUTION: The fender protector 11 mounted to a fender panel of the automobile is integrally formed by synthetic resin. The fender protector 11 is provided with a circular protector body part 15 covering a tire. The protector body part 15 is provided with the hinge device 21, and a front side piece 22 and a rear side piece 23 are made bendable. The hinge device 21 is provided with a hinge plate part 25 and notch parts 26, 26. A thickness dimension of the hinge plate part 25 is formed smaller than the other portion. Further, the hinge plate part 25 is formed such that width dimension becomes small from both ends 25a, 25a toward a central part. A height dimension of the protector body part 15 is molded small, and at mounting to a vehicle body, the protector body part 15 is bent at a portion of the hinge device 21 and is made circular.
