An electrical power steering apparatus having an elastic member is provided to improve working efficiency by readjusting the position of the elastic member without disassembling a reduction unit. An electrical power steering apparatus having an elastic member comprises a motor(146) having a rotation shaft(270) formed at one side thereof to supply steering power, a worm shaft(254) connected to the rotation shaft of the motor, a worm(152) formed at an outer peripheral surface of the worm shaft, a worm wheel(156) engaging with the worm and transmitting the rotation force of the motor to the steering shaft, a housing(260) surrounding the worm and the worm wheel, and an elastic member(310). The elastic member is prepared at one side end of the worm shaft and rested on the inside of a ball bearing(257).
