The control element is embedded into the lid outside surface. The lid has at least one notch located between the control element and the rest of the lid outside surface. The bowl-shaped control element is represented by a segment of the lid. The slotted notch has an exposed edge. ^ EFFECT: easy, uncomplicated and ergonomic latch-up/unlatch of the vacuum cleaner lid combined with enhanced visual attractiveness of the product. ^ 11 cl, 2 dwg
