PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzer capable of changing a reagent bottle automatically and easily. SOLUTION: This automatic analyzer is equipped with a mechanism for determining the height of a bottle position by means of a balance, a spring pressure or an air pressure corresponding to a bottle weight, and a mechanism for using successively a solution from a bottle having a higher solution level in due order, with the background wherein, when a reagent bottle using bottle content liquid and a reagent bottle not starting its use are loaded on a mechanism capable of acquiring a height difference between each solution level from the weight difference, the potential energy of a light-weight reagent bottle is heightened, to thereby facilitate discharge of the solution in the bottle. In the analyzer, a mechanism is adopted, wherein the lightest bottle is selected, and used continuously until the solution in the bottle is decreased sufficiently, and when the solution in the bottle is consumed or decreased sufficiently, use of solution in the next bottle filled with the solution is started.
