The station has a supporting surface (2) for accommodating and supporting of a patient. An endoscope is insertable into a body opening of the patient. A fastener (5) receives and secures an endoscope against axial shifting movements and radial upward or sideward movements. The fastener surrounds the endoscope over a large section of its axial length, so that the fastener fixes the endoscope in all directions with respect to angular position of the fastener. The supporting surface has a profiled rail (4) with t-shaped cross section provided as examination table.
