<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bioinstrumentation probe facilitating its installation on a head part of a subject such as an infant; and an art for measuring physiological changes caused by activity of the head part or the like, using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This bioinstrumentation probe includes a light illumination means for illuminating a light to the head of the subject via a first light guide 2-5, a means for focusing the light propagating inside the subject's head via a second light guide 2-5, and a light guide fixing section for fixing the plurality of light guides, wherein the light guide fixing section includes a light-guide guide 2-1 for retaining the first and second light guides, a pedestal 2-2 for connecting and retaining the light-guide guide, and a thin film or a wire rod 2-3 for connecting and retaining the pedestal.
